Grandma Keller's window
So the story goes.... Grandma Keller lived in this home in North Dakota until the mid 1970's when she passed away. The home was sold at auction, however, never relocated nor reoccupied making it truly "Grandma Keller's window". The curtains and pealing paint really appeal to me in this image. I took this photo in November of 2006.

I entered this picture in 2 local fairs this summer, 2008, in the amateur photography class. This picture placed 1st in its class in the Bonneville County Fair, and took 3rd place in its class in the Eastern Idaho State Fair.

My Montana : I am from Montana. There is something absolutely wonderful about Montana. It is an energy, a peaceful tone or spirit, you feel the moment you arrive and that you sense is missing the moment you leave. Montana is a place of beautiful, vast extremes, each deserving of admiration: mountains to prairies, summer heat to bitter winter cold, pines to sagebrush, miles of peaceful solitude to the wave of a fellow Montanan passing by. And of course there is, above it all, the beautiful Big Sky. I am proud to be a Montanan. There really is "no place like home."

Montana is truely the "Last Best Place" as it can't get any better than this.

Medicine Rocks, State Park, Montana : "Over an irregular tract of gently rolling sandy hills, perhaps about three quarters of a mile square, were scattered several hundred detached and isolated buttes or cliffs of sandstone, each butte from fifteen to fifty feet high, and from thirty to a couple of hundred feet across. Some of them rose as sharp peaks or ridges, or as connected chains, but much the greater number had flat tops like little table-lands. The sides were perfectly perpendicular, and were cut and channelled by the weather into the most extraordinary forms; caves, columns, battlements, spires, and flying buttresses were mingled in the strangest confusion. Many of the caves were worn clear through the buttes, and they were at every height in the sides, while ledges ran across the faces, and shoulders and columns jutted out from the corners. On the tops and at the bases of most of the cliffs grew pine trees, some of considerable height, and the sand gave every thing a clean, white look.

Letters : Searching for letters began as a project my friend, K., introduced me to. I found that it offers me the opportunity to practice my photography skills and encourages me to "see" things from a different perspective. Once you start looking for letters, you can't help but to continue to see them, even in the most ordinary places.

Trails End Ranch 30year Reunion, Ekalaka, Montana : MISSION: "To present a year-round quality Christian camping center as an evangelistic force for Jesus Christ; developing and training well-balanced Christians as an arm of local Gospel preaching churches."
Trail’s End Ranch is located on 720 acres of beautiful hill country, 5 miles S.E. of Ekalaka, in the extreme Southeastern corner of Montana. It is in the middle of the Custer National Forest and surrounded by plains.
Our Goals:
To bring each camper to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
To disciple each camper and help him/her grow into a mature Christian.
To deal with each one as an individual and help him/her develop physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually into a well balanced individual.
To encourage each camper to return home to serve the Lord, be a witness for Him, and become active in a local gospel preaching church.

This year-round Christian camping ministry is a quality ranch style Sports and Adventure camp for all ages. TER is an independent, fundamental, home missionary ministry that emphasizes evangelism, discipleship and witnessing. It is a balanced ministry to the whole person.
